Founded in 1964 by Jerry Bartos, Bartos Industries began in a North Dallas garage with a simple goal — to bring smarter, more reliable HVAC solutions to the marketplace. With Jerry’s engineering background and entrepreneurial drive, the company quickly earned a reputation for technical expertise and exceptional service, becoming one of the nation’s leading representatives for air movement and air treatment products.

In 1999, Bartos joined the Standard Supply family, expanding its reach and resources while maintaining the customer-first values that defined its success.

Today, Bartos stands as a trusted partner for HVAC and acoustic solutions across North Texas, known for expert-led support, best-in-class manufacturers, and a people-first culture built on decades of lasting relationships.

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Industrial Distribution, Spencer grew up immersed in the business—learning firsthand from his father and uncle’s decades of leadership. Our Philanthropy

At Bartos, we believe in serving others with the same care and integrity that guide our business. That’s why we proudly support OurCalling, a Dallas-based nonprofit dedicated to helping unsheltered neighbors walk with Jesus and find a path off the streets. Through its Outreach Center, Women’s Center, and Placement Solutions programs, OurCalling provides safety, dignity, and tangible resources–from showers and meals to housing connections and faith-based recovery support. Selected by CEO Spencer Shaw and COO Loran Liu for their aligned mission and trusted leadership, OurCalling embodies the same servant-hearted values that define Bartos. Our partnership includes financial contributions, donated HVAC systems, and quarterly volunteer days where Bartos team members roll up their sleeves to serve in person–living out our commitment to care for people, support our community, and make a lasting impact.

Bartos is also proud to support Homes For Our Troops, an organization dedicated to building and donating specially adapted homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans. This cause holds deep meaning for our team, and we’ve supported Homes For Our Troops for many years through financial contributions and active involvement. Their mission to restore independence, stability, and dignity for Veterans aligns closely with Bartos’ belief in service, sacrifice, and taking care of those who have given so much.
