Partnering With Purpose: Why Bartos Supports OurCalling

At Bartos, we believe strong communities are built through consistent action, trusted relationships, and a shared commitment to serving others. That belief is what led us to partner with OurCalling, a North Texas–based nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness find lasting pathways to stability.

OurCalling works at the intersection of outreach, education, and long-term support. Through street outreach, case management, job training, and recovery programs, their team meets people where they are—addressing immediate needs while helping individuals move toward sustainable housing, employment, and restored independence. Their approach is deeply relational, practical, and rooted in dignity.

Our partnership with OurCalling was a thoughtful, values-driven decision. Both Spencer Shaw, CEO, and Loran Liu, COO, have personal connections with the organization and trust the leadership and board members who guide its mission. That trust, combined with OurCalling’s hands-on, impact-focused approach, made them a natural fit for Bartos. Their mission closely aligns with our own belief in service, integrity, and doing meaningful work that extends beyond our industry.

Bartos supports OurCalling through a combination of monetary contributions, in-kind donations, and regular volunteer engagement. Our team participates in volunteer days, working directly alongside OurCalling staff to support their outreach and programs. These experiences give our employees the opportunity to serve shoulder-to-shoulder while seeing firsthand the impact of consistent, compassionate support.

In addition, Bartos has donated HVAC equipment and products to help OurCalling further its mission, along with financial contributions to support ongoing operations. Our team also came together for a hat-and-glove drive, providing essential cold-weather items to individuals in need during the winter months.

This partnership is more than a sponsorship—it’s an extension of who we are. Supporting OurCalling allows Bartos to live out our values in a tangible way, investing not just in buildings and systems, but in people and communities.
