Bartos Industries was founded in 1964 by Jerry Bartos.

After graduating from SMU’s College of Engineering, Jerry went to work for the TRANE company as a Sales Engineer. A few years later, Jerry decided to start his own company and began Bartos Industries out of his garage in north Dallas. Jerry was a natural and gifted entrepreneur and methodically grew his company over the next 35 years by adding top talent and vendors. By 1999 Jerry and his talented staff had grown Bartos into one of the countries’ premier reps for air movement and air treatment products in the industrial and commercial markets.

Meanwhile, brothers Bill and Mark Shaw were actively growing Standard Supply & Distributing (founded in 1946), which mainly serves the residential HVAC industry with supplies and equipment. Wanting to expand their business into the commercial space, in 1999 the Shaw brothers purchased Bartos from Jerry. Over the years Bartos has continued to increase the number of sales representatives, expand customer service personnel and add inventory. The product offering has also evolved and expanded into the tremendous portfolio that it is today. Since day one, the Bartos team established and has maintained its focus on technical expertise and customer service.

Today, Bartos Industries is a leading manufacturer’s representative in North Texas, offering an unparalleled range of air movement, treatment, hydronic systems, and noise/vibration elimination equipment. Our dedication lies in providing top-notch service through our expert sales team, a vast product selection from premier manufacturers, and specialized solution groups to cater to distinct needs. INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers is the leading engineering organization for our industry. Their mission is “To serve humanity by advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and their allied fields.” Bartos Industries is involved in many ways with the local Dallas and Fort Worth chapters. From sponsorships and donations to attending and presenting at local chapter meetings. We also have a number of Bartos employees who volunteer their time as chair positions to keep the organization running.

GIVING BACK TO OUR VETERANS

The mission of Home for our Troops is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Bartos Industries and Standard Supply host an annual golf tournament fundraiser to give to this important cause.

CUSTOMER EVENTS

Bartos Industries hosts an annual customer appreciation event. This year was at Chicken N Pickle in Grapevine, Texas. We had a fantastic turnout and sent some lucky customers home with very nice door prizes. A great time was had by customers and our employees!
